Removal pricing:

How can I get the removal quote?

The removal cost depends on the amount of furniture and boxes you have and the distance you are moving. Also wherever you have any specific requirements or require any additional service. 

There are three ways of how to provide this information:

Packing:

Where do I get the packing materials?

We can provide you with the packing materials. We will charge you just for the cost of the packing materials and will refund this amount when we collect our boxes from you. Alternatively you can purchase the packing materials you need from our on-line shop.

Do I have to collect my packing materials?

No. We can deliver your packing materials. But only after you confirm your moving date with us.

Do I have to bring the boxes back to you?

No. We will collect the boxes and will refund the deposit you've paid.

Can you do full packing?

Yes. We can provide a Full packing service for the additional charge. We require to start packing one or two days in advance.

Do we have to sign the Contract?

Do I have to pay in advance?

No, we don't take the payment in advance. But if you wish you can pay a deposit.

Will my stuff be Insured?

All your possessions will be covered by our Goods in Transit and Public Liability insurances. If you require to purchase the cover for something specific, we can arrange this for you.

Do you have storage?

Yes, we have a list of recommended local  storage facilities.


The moving day :

When to expect the removal team?

The team arrives at 9 am if otherwise isn't agreed.

What services are included in the removal price?

  • manpower
  • removal vehicle(s)
  • protecting the furniture
  • disassembling and assembling service
  • un-plumbing and plumbing appliances

How do you protect the furniture?

We use stretch film to protect soft furniture and cardboard to protect glass and wooden surfaces.

Do I have to dismantle the large furniture?

You can, but we will do it for you on the moving day.

Could you provide the packing service of the fragile items only?

Yes, we can for the additional charge.

Can I leave my bedside tables and chests of drawers full?

You can leave them full. But make sure they are strong enough to support their own weight.

Can my old house be emptied by 1 pm?

Yes. We do all the preparations for the larger houses one day in advance.

When do I pay?

We take the payment on the removal day after the move is complete.

What are the ways of payment?

Changing Address

Remember to notify your Doctors, Dentists, mobile telephone providers, Insurance Companies, BT, Council, Utility Providers, TV Licensing, Banks, Solicitors, DVLA. For more information please visit Valuation Office Agency

Arranged for your mail to be re-directed at the Post Office or on their web site.

Children

Most of the time children are very exited about moving. To keep them busy, pack their favourite toys/books into one clearly marked box for an easy access.

Documents and Valuables

Remember to keep you personal belongings, valuables and documents in the safe place or with you on the removal day.

Mobile Phones

Remember to charge your mobile phone to stay in touch with the removal team on the day to ensure your moving runs smoothly and efficiently.

Kitchen

Empty and defrost your Fridges/Freezers. Put your food into plastic bags or plastic containers.

Parking

Remember to sort the parking permits for the removal vans with the Council if required. They usually need good notice.

Packing

Start your packing as soon as possible. Mark your boxes ( bedroom 1,2, kitchen, loft, etc) and mark if the content is fragile.
